THE "ALL BLACKS" AGAIN DEFEATED. London, November 14. At football, Barrow defeated the New Zealand professional team by two tries to ofie. There was even play for the first half, each side scoring a try. Subsequently Barrow pressed the visitors, and were unlucky in not scoring more heavily. Barrow g New Zealand ] 3 I The Yorkshire Post of October 2 says: "The New Zealand professional footballers have undoubtedly created a favorable impression in Yorkshire. All who have seen and talked with them, to-day agree that they are a splendid lot of follow*, magnificently built physically, intelligent, and in the main of gentlemanly bearing. Socially, at any .rate, they are quite as respectable, if one may use the term, a type as the amateur 'All Blacks' who toured the British Isles two years ago. It is a long time since a football team in the North of England had such a reception as they got. There was a crowd of many thousands gathered round the Midland Station when the team arrived at about 8 o'clock, and the cheering was continued while -Ihoy progressed from the Strand to the Grand Central Hotel, which they are making their headquarters."
