COLLAPSE OF EXTREMISTS. Bombay, November 13. Moderates gained the control at the Indian National Congress. The promotion of industries is to be placed in the forefront of ilic Congress programme. Bengal people are greatly struck at the dramatic collapse of the extremist party. Indian natives who have been released at Laipatri and Ajitsing attribute their release to King Edward's clemency. There was great rejoicing at Calcutta. Hindu priests led singing parties through the streets, invoking blessings on King Edw&rd.
