Mohawk (GO4), the sire of Elmo, time 2.12; was also the sire of Clark's Mohawk, time 2.25; and in turn the sire of Yellow Dock, time 2.11, and many others with 2.30 records. Judge Belden, sire of Count Belden, was sold with a public trial of 2.17, and was the most handsome stallion that ever left America. At the Royal Agricultural Show, Sydney, N.S.W., he gained First and Champion Prizes three years in succession.

Judge Belden (imp.) is the sire of Bellman, winner of tile Auckland Trot, Canterbury Victoria Handicap, and Progressive Handicap in 1898, and the Auckland Electric rot in 181)7. Duke C., out of the same dam as Count Belden (imp.), won Epsom Trot of two miles, time 5.7y 2 ; Juno Handicap and Glasgow Trot, at Auckland.
