"WOTICE is hereby given that a Special meeting held on the fourth day of November, 1007, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the Taranaki County Council make a By-law under "The Counties Act, 1880," and its amendments, and Sections 151 and 152 of "The Public Works Act, 1905," the object and purport of which by-law are as follows: To forbid the conduct of all or any of the following particular kinds of traffic, namely, the cartage of timber in logs, sawn timber, split timber, firewood, stones, broken metal or gravel, upon or along any road under the control of the Taranaki County Council, the statutory penalty for any breach of the By-law beiiiL' a fine not exceeding £ 2b.
