ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Per Press Association. Invcrcargill, Thursday. A fatal accident occurred on the Waiau road, near Orepuki, this morning, Alice Colby, eighteen years of age, being the victim. She was driving in a milkcart with Mrs. Forde, when the horse shied at a traction-engine. The cart was capsized, and the girl was pinned to the ground, Mrs. Forde escaping. When picked up the girl was unconscious, and died shortly afterwards.
