ROME AND MODERNISM.
THE SUSPENSION OF FATHER TYRRF.L. Received Oct. 31, 10.10 p.m. London, October 31. The Bishop of Southwark explains that .Father George Tynel was not excommunicated, but only deprived of sacrament.
In other words, this means that Father Tyrrol is no longer recognised as a priest, but is not excommunicated from tile Church. Having criticised the action of the Vatican on modernism, he has been suspended from Holy Orders.
