FREE LABOR ASSOCIATION.
OPPONENTS OF SOCIALISM. London, October 28. The annual report submitted to the Congress of the National Free Labor Association at London claims a membership of 680,000. The report declares the Association will be a Hie to cheek the high tide of trade onion socialism, which is recruited by boycotting, terrorism, and blackmail.' The Spectator suggests that with x view to making a united fight against free traders and tariffites ahoold agree to ssbmit their differences to a Royal Commission.

The Free Labor Congress resolved in favor of the repeal of the Trades Dis*v pates Act, and protested against the organised labor agitation claiming to represent all wage-earners.
