CANADA AND JAPAN. JAPAN RESENTS RESTRICTIONS. Received Oct. 28, 11.40 p.iu!' ToKio, October 28. While Japan is pleased at the attitude of the Canadian authorities regarding the anti-Japanese outrages, she strongly opposes the convention restricting the movements of Japanese laborers, considering it would be an insidious discrimination, and also unnecessary, since the inflow of laborers to Canada has ceased. ,•
EXCLUSION OF ASIATICS DE- ' HANDED. Received Oct. 29, 1.8 a.m. Vancouver, October 28. The Finance Committee of the Corpora tino demands the exclusion of .Asiatics, also the abrogation of tlie treaty with Japan. The Committee assert that 7700 Japanese, 1900 Hindus, and 300 Chinese arrived in British Columbia in 1907. ' TREATMENT OF HINDUS. ALLEGED SHOCKING INJUSTICE. . Received Oct. 29, 1.8 a,m. London, October 28. The Times' Vancouver correspondent ; says that Hindus are treated with *.>, shocking injustice. 1
