Per Press Association. 1 Wanganui, Last Night. A special meeting of the Wanganui J.C. metropolitan committee was held here to night, and cancelled the jockey's license held by the well-known horseman, Charles Jenkins. This decision Was arrived at after reviewing the Marton Jockey Club stewards' inquiry into a charge preferred against Jenkins of using abusive language to the judge at the conclusion of the Flying Handicap on September sth, Jenkins was also fined £lO for jostling Linkless while riding St Claimer in the flying Handicap at the Rangitikei R.C. meeting on September 18th. The effect of the cancellation of Jenkin's li~ cense is that he will be unable to ride in any races during the current racing season.
