A painful sensation was caused to every section in Pretoria by the desecration of Kruger's grave. The bust had been wrenched from its base, and lay a yard distant. incidentally, tho tombstone of a grandchild in the same plot was slightly damaged. A statuette of an angel at the head of the grave was overturned.
