Samuel, on behalf of the promoters of the New Plymouth Bill, which is to lie dealt with next session, is using every constitutional means to obtain the postponement of the Waitara Bill until the New Plymouth Bill is before Parliament,

Mr Jennings has given notice to ask the Minister of Education whether iie has noticed the following paragraph which appeared in the "Taranaki Jjaily News" ol Saturday, 11th "Alleged excessive cost of leases wfts discussed yesterday at tile meeting of School Commissioners. Mr Faull introduced the matter, and complained that too much jnouey was spent before a lease could be obtained.
