Marconi experts at Morien, in Nova Scotia, received on October 7th a message intended for someone in the Pacific, announcing the arrival of the Amenean cruieer Philadelphia at Man.lj. [Che experts account for the fact by tne •apposition that tile cone at Manila Burt have been in perfect tune with that at Morien.
loid Kelvin, Sir William Crookes, Sir Oliver Lodge and Professor Ayxton Warmly congratulated Marconi. Marconi is transmitting Press messages between Clifden, in Conneniarra and Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, at an average of 30 words a minute.
