WELLINGTON DRAINAGE SCHEME.
Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The ratepayers of the outlying districts of Wellington City, practically the portion formerly comprising Melrose Borough, voted to-day on the City Council's proposal to borrow £IOO,OOO for drainage purposes' in Melrose district. The proposal was carried by 175 to 14.
