WAREA. £ (From Our Own Correspondent). ® Surveyors have been in tliis district -his last week or two surveying the Jewell run of several thousand acres. j. The picuie and errcltec match Married f. In the afternoon s it seemed to brighten up a little, and j the dance was held in the evening. t There were not a great number present, ( but au enjoyable evening was spent by those who were there. Mr. D. Paterson presided at the piano, and Messrs. Bruce Anderson and T. E. Larkin made able M.C.'s. At midnight a splendid supper was handed round and much appreciated. Dancing was kept going until an early hour on Friday morning. The total takings at the door amounted to about £-1. A concert and dance will be held shortly in the hall in aid of the Newellroad school, which is in need of funds.
