Short, a well-known Itomney sheep breeder, lias presented a solid silver cup, to be known as the "Short Romney Marsh Challenge Cup," to the M'lnawatu A. and P. Association, 'Die cup, which cost 100 guineas at Home, )9 17 inches high, IB inches wide, and mounted upon an ebony pedestal, which brings the height of the cup to 24 inches. The cup is handsomely and appropriately ornamented, and under the conditions of presentation must be won twice in succession or three times at intervals, sheep to be bred and owned by the exhibitor, and no sheep bred by the donor to be eligible to win the cup outright, though they may compete at any time.
