THREATENED RAILWAY STRIKE
London, October 10. Mr Ramsay Maedonald, Labor Member of Parliament, suggests that a settlement of the railway dispute is impossible. The Premier, Sir H. Canip-bell-Bannerman, ought to summon a special session of Parliament to avert a strike and to force the directors to arbitrate.
