Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Ni'ght. At a meeting of the council of the Chamber of Commerce this afternoon a resolution was carried empowering the chairman, Mr. N. A. Nmtliap, to make representations to the Government in the direction of securing an improved mail service between New Zealand ahd England. Members generally agreed that the loss of the San Francisco service was to be deplored; at the sarno time an All Red route was hoped for.
