TERRIBLE HARDSHIPS.
STORY OF A WRECK. Received Oct. 2, 10.46 p.m. ' New York, October 2. " The crew of the American barque Prussia reached New York after being wrecked on Statet Island in June. The captain died from cold, and the crow suffered terrible hardships for forty days. The ship's carpenter built a boat In which a party of three -reached-'New Year's Island, whence a whaleboat rescued the remainder.
