NORTH TARANAKI CRICKET ASSOCIATION.
Tiie annual meeting of the North Taranaki Cricket Association was held at Mew Plymouth 011 Monday night. Tlrue were present:— Messrs ti. llill, vice-pre-sident (in the chair), W. Pcrhiun (Cirrington road), 11. J. Crombie (Inglewood), Hawkins (Waitara), Lightbard (Mew Plymouth), E. Avery (Urenui), A. 11. Steeds, treasury, E. Whittle, secretary, and members of the town clubs. The annual report reviewed the work of the year, which had 011 the whole been very satisfactory, except that two re- 1 presentative ma.tches had been lost.' The opinion was expressed that when the Recreation Grounds pitch was rea.ty for plav a decided impetus would be ghen the game l . Whittle; lion treasurer, Mr A. 11. Steeds; championslup committee, Messrs Whittle, Pirham and Lightband; delegate to the N'ew Zealand Council, Mr A. 11. Ilardv; selection committee, Messrs Scholefieid' Perham and Crombie; auditor, Mr H Stocker. The chairman presented to Mr Perhini (Carrington road) Mr E. P. W«b ster's trophy for the first player scoring a century. M r Perham had scored 107 ill the match against Waitara at Carrington road on January Ist.
