Pel Press Association. lnvercargill, Last Night. Court statistics for the quarter show a decrease in the number of persons charged with nnd convicted of offences connected with the supply and receipt of liquor. Sixteen persons were convicted of drunkenness, five of offences directly traceable to drink, and ten prohibition orders were issued, as against thirty-two, twenty, and eight respectively in 1900.
