NEWTON KING'S WEEKLY REPORT. Mr Newton King reports as follows: At the ilaymarket on Saturday there was a fair entry of pigs. Suckers made lis fid to 9s, wcancrs 10s to 15s, small stores 21s; horse £0 10s, gig .-£lO. At the mart poultry sold well, hens making 2s to 2s Bd, pullets 2s 5d to 3s; roosters 2s Sd, ducks 2s 2d to 2s 3d, geese 3s. A quantity of damaged Hour, groceries and sundries sold at prices in favor of buyers.

Cattle—At Stratford on' Tuesday there was a good yarding both of store and dairy cattle. Of the former class store cows predominated, and most of these were sold either at the hammer or privately. Very few steers or yearlings came forward, but prices for both classes were fully sustained. In (he dairy yards bidding was quiet, and prices for ordinary quality springers were on the low' side. Heifer yearlings made HJs to 23s fid, steer do. 37s to 3Ss Od, 18 mouths' to two-year heifers 35s to 41s, store eows 25s to 545, forward do. £3 to £4, fat do. £•.' 12s to £C 15s, springing heifers £3 to £5, cows £3 5s to £7.

Cows in milk made £4 5s to £0 15s, springers £0 5s to £S ss, fat cows £5, engine aud boiler £4(l, dray £lO, store pigs 10s Od, milk-cans 10s to 18s.

Land—The sale of Education Reserves on Saturday last was well attended, and a large number of sections were sold at prices in advance of upsets.
