The rivers are high, „„ , Wanganui, Friday. the heavy ram and gale experienced during the last few days have now clearcd. The river rose twenty feet at Pipiriki, 53 miles from town. The river steamer Waimarie, coming down on the ilood tide, made the trip in three and three-quarter hours.
