At the annual meeting of the Inglewood Cricket Olulj a credit balance ot C 7 Is wan reported, despite large expenditure in the purchase of material. OlUcers were elected:—Patron, Mr B. 11. -Nieholis; president, Mr W. li. I'orcival; vice-presidents, Messrs Curtis, Oault, T. E. llaiuerton, Nutting, llobertshaw and Rowe; secretary, Mr J. Grant; captain, -Mr 1). Clegg; vice-eaptain, Mr Gudgeon; treasurer, Mr F. Thomson; committee.. Messrs Crombie, Orbell and J. Sutherland, with office-bearers; selection committee, the captain, vice-captain, and Mr Crombie; delegate to Association, Mr Cromliie. With a view to encouraging boys to take interest in the game, it was decided thai two boys trom the Inglewood school and two from the Stratford' District lligh School on leaving school; be elected to honorary membership for one season, such boys to bo nominated by the headmasters of the schools. The following are the best averages for the lnglewood first eleven:--Halt-ing: licv. 11. lieeve, who batte l only lour times, en me out top, with nil average of IL>, closely followed by Clegg, with an average of 15.8, and (ludgeon, 15.2, both of whom batted throughout ilie season. Bowling: Mr Crombie, with' 22 we-kets lor !).04- each; and Mr dudgeon. uilli -J!) for 11.2 each, were the hijrliest. The junior averages are as follows:—flailing: L. Sutherland Kl.li, F. Thomson Ii.SS, M. Sutherland 0.25, and 11. Thomson !).0. Bowling: 11. 'Thomas, 21 wickets for 4.20 each; L. Sutherland, 21 for 5 each; M. Sutherland, 12 tor 5.214 each.
