A GRUESOME DISCOVERY.
Per Press Association. Oamaru, Last Night. This morning a Maori discovered on one of the islands near the moufli of the Waitaki river the body of a man in an advanced stage of decomposition. There is little doubt the remains ?ve those of Alexander Russell, who disappeared from Dalgleish's farm at Papaiaio on 20th August.
