RUSSO-JAPANESE SENSATION.
ALLEGED ESPIONAGE BY STAFF 1 OFFICERS. I JAPANESE ARRESTED. IMMEDIATE RELEASE DEMANDED. Received Sept. 22, 4.40 p.m. St. Petersburg, September 21. The St. Petersburg Bourse Gazette stales that during military manoeuvres near Vladivostoek some Japanese officers belonging to the General Staff were Sound in possession of certain maps and plans, and wore placed under arrest.' The Japanese Government has demanded the immediate release of the prisoners.
