RAILWAY MEN'S GRIEVANCES.
Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The reply made by the Premier in the House of Representatives to a question drawing his attention to the grievances of railway employees was submitted yesterday to several members of the railway staff, and some interesting rejoinders were made. A general impression seemed to prevail that the Premier had failed to grasp the real position, and, although a number of additional men were seen, not one was found to suggest there had been the slightest exaggeration in the statements of the men previously published, several remarking, "the case for the employees was put most fairly, and the Premier's statement in the House is no reply at all to it."
