PROPOSED IRISH IMMIGRATION.
Per Press Association. Wellington, Last .Night.. A motion carried at the half-yearly meeting of the Hibernian Society's District Board at Auckland last month, that steps be taken to encourage Irish immigration, was discussed at the quarterly meeting of the Wellington society to-night. A resolution disapproving the proposal was carried by a large majority.
