Per Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. Lieutenant Hamilton and six men of the East Coast Mounted Rilles go to Wellington to take part in the Dominion Day celebrations. Mr. Seymour, of Hokitika, has notified his provisional acceptance of the I position of bandmaster of the Gisbomc City Band, The Poverty Bay Rowing Club has decided to support Napier for the championship regatta, and the Gisborne Rowing Club support Wanganui. At a meeting of the Gisborne Oil Company it was decided to ask the Government to allow Dr. Tiell, Government geologist, to visit th- district to determine where the anti-i'lii:os are.
