NEWS FROM THE SEA.

Per Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. A telegram from Dargaville states that a bottle has been found in Kaihu Creek with a message purporting to be signed by Fraser, the engineer of the Mmgamite, stating that his boat was leaking badly and that the occupants had been without food and water for several days. B. Fraser was one of the occupants of the third mate's boat, of which nothing has been heard since the wreck of the Elingamite. The boat disappeared in the fog after the officer in charge had informed the purser he was going to the mainland.
