CHINESE REBELS.
AN OBSTINATE FIGHT. Pekin, September lb. Chinese rebels armed with modern weapons and led by emigrants who have returned from the Straits Settlements and Annam, bad an obstinate fight lasting twelve hours with the Imperial troops at Lingshuan. Reinforcements of Imperial troops came from Kw.tngti, sixty miles distant, and relieved the town.
