PREMATURE PLAGUE SCARE.
Per Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. Dr. Finch, District Health Officer for Canterbury, was summoned from Christchureh yesterday in connection with the condition of a youth whosa ailment presented symptoms that gave rise to suspicions of plague. To-day fortunately, these symptoms had so far changed as to remove the fears that had been aroused.
