PROPOSED INCREASE OE DUTY, Received 12th. 10.55 p.m. Capetown, September 12. Dr Jameson, in the Assembly, proposed to introduce an Enabling" Bill to raise the meat duty to twopence, to become effective if the other members of the South African Customs TTnion assent.
