Wellington, Last Night, At the City Council to-night, the Tramways Committee's recqmmendation rejecting an offer made recently by Mr. Hall (for many years manager of the old horse trams in Wellington) to lease the present electric tram system, paying £40,000 per annum and threepence per month -per car mile for supply of power,- was adopted without comment.
