WAREA. A meeting of the cricket club was held in the library on Tuesday evening. There was a fair attendance. Mr C. Corbett occupied the chair. It was decided to hold a dance in aid of the club's funds. A strong ladies committee was formed to look after the supper arrangements. Mr. C. Wells, who lately sold his farm at Mangorei, has shifted to this district, and is living on his farm on the Ruakere road. Mr Wells intends to milk for the factory. The final euchre party in aid of the hall funds will be held on Thursday. The milk supply at the factory is increasing. The tests are very good for this time of the year, the average last week being 4.0.
