HOCKEY.
Per Press Association. Napier, Last Night. Two ladies' hockey matches were played on the Eecreation Ground this afternoon. In the first match the Te Kooti (Hastings) beat the Waiiganui inidies' hockey team by two goals to nil. The second match was. a representative match between the Auckland and Hawko's Bay ladies' teams. The game was very fast anjd interesting, and tfio two sides were very evenly matched After a well contested game Hawko's Bay won by one goal to nil.
