AUCKLAND HOSPITAL BOARD.
ALLEGED EXTRAVAGANCE. Per Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. There is a movement for an enquiry into the financial methods of the Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, It is asserted that the institution is not being rim on" businesslike principles, and that it is too subservient in matters of expenditure to" the medical stall' and is burdening itself financially to an undue and unwise extent. Several of the borough councils are convening special meetings to consider certain allegations as to extravagance that have been made.
