A real pantomime makes such a general appeal to the playgoing public that this event is being awaited with ca«er anticipation by both the oldest and youngest members of the community Jo young New Plymouth the coming of 'Mother Goose" is a happening which is likely to realise many childish dreams of fairyland. It is really the first opportunity they will have had of witnessing one of Mr. J. C. Williamson's pantomimes in its entirety. At the same time, the adult population are keenly expectant of good entertainment. "Mother - Goose" promises to

prove the right kind of entertainment for people who feel the need of complete relaxation from work and worry in wholesome fun and nonsense. The programme contains a long sequence of incidents calculated to create lntiohtcr nnd admiration. There are several large scenic displays, three complete ballets, a parade of grotesqueries, n Mng list of ballads and choruses, and the promise of some hilarious doings by comedians, specially imported from London. For three and a-half hours (the curtain rises at 7.45 p.m.) the audience are promised a quick succession of every conceivable dish which goes to the! making of a pantomime least. The box plan opens this morning at the Colonial Piano Company, and the prices are as usual.
