,• THE NEW WESTERN DIVISION. > Our Opunake correspondent writes:— , "A meeting of delegates of the various caibs interested was held in Opunake on Saturday cvrning to discuss the proposed .Western Division. The following were present: Messrs. Ross and O'Meara (Opunake), Boyce and Andrews (Okato), A. and A. H. Ackcw (Pihama), R. and J. Malcolm (Oaouui), A. Guy (Warea), Bates (Te Kiri), Richards (Koru), and J. Garcia (Rahotu). Mr. R. -Malcolm was voted to the chair. It was decided to ask the Rugby Union to extend the southern boundary from the Oeo river to the Egmont county boundary, and it was also decided to approach the Kaponga and Waimate Clubs to see if they would agree to the proposed alteration of the boundary. The district was subdivided into four, as follows:—Pihama, from southern bound- ; ary to Waikaka river; Opunake, from ' Waikaka river to Mototi stream and ] block line to mountain; Rahotu, from s Mototi stream to Newall-road; Okato, ] from Xewall-road to northern boundary. These boundaries arc to be submitted < to the Rugby Union for approval, and it i is suggested that they should be subject to rearrangement at the end of the ; iirst season it considered necessary." i

it is understood that several of the New Zealanders will remain in England, among them W. Johnston, of the AllBlacks. In this connoction the Athletic News states that 'like Colonials will come to England to stay, and it (nay be surmised that when the Northern Union Challenge Cup is being fought there will be among the contestants Now Zealanders who have found a .lew home. There is an honorable agnement made by the offici.ils of the various N.U. clubs that no attempt to approach (i New Zealander will be made until the tour is linished. Then—but we shall see!"
