BURGLARIES IN CHRISTCHURCH
A YOUTHFUL BAND ARRESTED. Per Press Association. Christchureh, Last Night. Recently a number of burglaries have been committed in various warehouses and shops in different parts of the city, the thefts invariably being perpetrated on Sunday nights. Among the premises broken into were those of Messrs. Harris and Co., Skelton, Frosttck and Co., Gordon and Gotch, and Harrison, builder. _ The goods stolen included large :i|uantitics of cigars, cigarettes, and tobacco. As the result of investigations, Detective Gibson to-day arrested four boys, whose ages range up to sixteen years, for being implicated in the robberies.
