EXPERIMENTAL TRAWLING.
Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A Parliamentary party went this altcrnoou on an excursion in the harbour by the Nora Niven, the • little steamer which is under charter to the Government for experimental trawlin« purposes. The Nora Niven leaves to* morrow for the Sounds, going first to the north of. Stephen's Island if the weather is favourable. If not she will go into Tnsman Bay. It is proposed to thoroughly test the West toast grounds ot the South Island, after which experiments will be made along the West Coast of the North Island.
