Other resolutions adopted at the Kith Congress demanded inquiry into the ai leged SUvation Army sweating; condemned conscription or compulsory military training; instructed the Parliamentary Committer to secure bct-i wages in Government dockyards, and tnantmied the Congress' previous decision in favor of a minimum wage <>f 60s a week. Mr {/Grady, a member of the Ilo'jse Of Commons, deel ired that joiners worked hi the Salvation Army workshops at Bpitalfield at 500 per cent, below cne trade union rate.
