THE GOVERNMENT PROPOSALS. NEW SOUTH "WALES' OFFER. Received 6th, 951 pjn. Pretoria, Sept 0. There are still 800 unemployed on tho Bond, though the minea are *4h •orbing SO weekly. The Government has withdrawn the proclamation of the Waterbery tin fields, fearing bloodshed. Also fearing that the fields (nay fall into the hands of capitalists, the Government propose to locate mineralised areas, placing the unemployed there. Beplying to Mr Botha, Mr Carrutitts, the New South Wales Premier, atatea he is able to place 200 Rand unemployed.
