WAITARA HARBOUR BILL.
! At the Clifton County Council nieeting yesterday correspondence was read from the Premier's office, Hon. J. Millar, and Messrs. W. T. Jennings, H. Okey, W. Symes, and C. E. Major, the Taranaki members of the House, regarding the Waitara Harlwur Bill. Mr. Major' wrote that he realised the disabilities suffered'!)}- Waitara as a port by reason of its ambitious neighbour, and he would be pleased to help the Waitara member to protect the Waitara Harbour Board from any oppression by the New Plymouth Harbour Board.
