The death is reported of Colonel FitzIgeorge, son of the late Duke of Cam- ! bridge. A Press Association message from Christehurch states that the condition of Mr. T. J. Joynt, K.C., has become very serious and is causing anxiety. Mr. Joynt received his appointment as King's Counsel in June, and ho is the Senior King's Counsel for Now Zealand. Mr W. K Gwillim, the well-known manager of the Eltham Dairy Factory, Ins been appointed Government butter grader at Auckland, and takes up «is duties at an early date.
