STRIKERS REFUSE TO PAY FINES. Received Sept. 4, 10.20 p.m. Sydney, eptember 4. Fifteen clippers-on and seventy-six wheelers at Pelawmain colliery, Newcastle, were eharged wim leaving their employment without reasonable cause. The clippers-on were fined £2 and I costs, and the wheelers £3 and costs. [All the wheelers decided to go to gaol.
