THE ANTWERP STRIKES
I BLACKLEGS ATTACKED BYSTRIKERS. POLICE INTERFERE WITH FVTA.L RESULTS. Received 4th, 10.8 p.m. Antwerp, Sept. 4. The strike trouble here led to viol nt scenes. The strikers attacked the English and German blacklegs, an'd the police freely used their revolvers and charged the mobs with drawn swords. Six strikers were injured. Ultimately the civic guard restored order.
