OLD AGE PENSIONS.
A PROPOSAL IX IiXGLAXD. Received Sept. 3, 10.31 p.m. London, September 3. Avelmry liridbrooke, late chief registrar of friendly societies, in a letter to The Times propounds a scheme of oldage pensions on a contributory basis, partly using friendly societies' funds supplemented by the Government.
