Jones' blood hor.se Gilnoekie will be procurable for stud purposes in the New Plymouth district during the reason about to commence. Gilnoekie is a dark bay horse of good quality, compactly built, and of splendid temperament. As a performer on the turf (on 1 the Hat and over sticks) he did excellent work, aad also wore the champion ribbon at last year's Taranaki Agricultural Show. His breeding is exceptionally dean, and he is descended on both sides from some of tile best blood that ever graced the New Zealand and Australian turf, amongst others being The Painter, Peter Flat Ferryman, StoekweH, Lc Loup, K;,pid Boy, Yattcndon, Traducer, and Mermaid. Gilnoekie has been well wintered and is in excellent fottle. Dates and places of travel will appear in these columns at a Inter date.

LORD ERSKINE. The above champion Clydesdale is to lie at the service of breeders in Taranaki. This [magnificent specimen was recently purchased in the South Island at a cost of 800 guineas, and should do much towards still further improving I the Clydesdale breed in this province.
