London, August 30. The Times' New York correspondent says it is asserted that there are 8000 Japanese in British Columbia and 2500 more are expected. The people are al most panic-stricken by the presence of what is believed to be some vague menace or organised attempt to make ihe Pacific coast a yellow community.
