CAPE COLONY PROPOSALS. Received 30th, 9.27 p.n>. Capetown, August 30. The Assembly agreed to the Bill inlroaacti by the Treasurer for levying a profit tax of ten per cent, on diamond and copper mining companies' earnings over £50,000, also the income tax proposals, with a proviso that companies. With their headquarters at the Cape, lie treated on the 1906 scale.
